Peru's Ministry of Culture has planned a series of activities including parades and dances to celebrate the World Folklore Day.
The cultural performances to showcase the Peruvian traditions, customs and rituals will be held in the whole country.
Thus, the main ceremony will take place in Peru's central region of Junin at 9:00 am.
Moyobamba, capital city of the San Martin region in northern Peru, will stage "Una Noche con el Folclore de la Selva" at 20:00 pm to promote traditional dances of the region.
In Lima, the activities will start with the discussion group “Danza, musica e identidad” which includes academic research and artistic proposals.
