Forward Paolo Guerrero, who turned 42 yesterday, renewed his contract for another year with Alianza Lima, the peruvian soccer club announced on its social media.
"We continue together, we continue believing," the club stated.
During the 2025 season, Paolo Guerrero played 38 matches, scored 18 goals, and provided three assists in the local tournament, Copa Libertadores, and Copa Sudamericana.
Paolo Guerrero joined Alianza Lima during the 2024 Clausura tournament after leaving the northern club César Vallejo.
This year marks his third season with the club, a team he has declared himself a fan of.

Guerrero will have to compete for a starting spot in Alianza Lima's attack with Luis Ramos, who came from América de Cali, and Argentine Federico Girotti, whose last team was Talleres de Córdoba in Argentina.
Paolo Guerrero has played throughout his career for clubs such as Bayern Munich and Hamburg in Germany; Corinthians, Flamengo, Internacional, and Avaí in Brazil; Racing Club in Argentina; and Liga de Quito in Ecuador.
