Singer Scarlet presents a new collaboration with Norlam, former lead vocalist of the Cuban group Los 4 de Cuba. They have reimagined the musical gem by British-Spanish artist Jeanett, “Por que te vas,” in a project that reaffirms the growth of salsa in Peru and its projection within the Latin market.

The official release made a big impact on all digital platforms, accompanied by a high-quality music video, a production that sets a new precedent in the Peruvian and Latin American markets for its aesthetic and narrative approach.

The collaboration between Scarlet and Norlam stands out for the artistic chemistry and the interpretive strength of both, elements that reinforce salsa as a genre with great appeal and enduring relevance.

Norlam highlights the talent that exists in Peru and expresses her satisfaction at having been part of this project, conceived for direct connection with the public and the celebration of salsa.

The song was produced in the United States under the direction of Frank Palacios and with the participation of renowned Cuban trumpeter Gerardo Rodríguez.

The recording featured musicians who have worked with Marc Anthony, contributing an authentic, contemporary sound that remains true to the essence of the genre.

“Por qué te vas” reaffirms Scarlet's artistic identity, recognized for her “Fina con Calle” style, and represents a solid commitment to salsa with international character and quality.
