On the occasion of the Creole Song Day, Lima's main square will host on Monday a serenade featured with the participation of renowned bands and singers such as Cecilia Bracamonte, Rosa Flor and Pepe Vasquez.
Said Creole festival which starts at 17:00 hours (22:00 GMT) will bring together an artistic band called Centro Social Musical Barrios Altos, as well as the trio Los Caballeros de la Noche, and the colectivo Palenke.
This celebration would last until midnight, with the presentation of the cultural associations Brisas del Titicaca and Jallmay.
Every year on October 31, Peru celebrates the Creole Song Day aiming to pay homage to Peruvian Coastal music.
