INEI: Peru's economy up 1.53% in Nov 2025, posted 23 consecutive months of expansion

National production posted 1.53% growth in November 2025 compared with the same month the previous year, the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI) reported on Thursday.

This result was driven by Construction (+9.83%); Other Services; and Commerce (+4.17%); followed by Government Services (+4.39%); Transportation, Storage, and Courier (+3.25%); Services Provided to Companies (+4.14%); and Accommodation & Restaurants (+4.38%).

However, Agriculture and Livestock (-0.96%); Fishing (-17.85%); Mining and Hydrocarbons (-6.47%); Manufacturing (-2.12%); Telecommunications (0.64%); and Finance & Insurance (0.27%) posted unfavorable performances.

This performance came in below the Central Reserve Bank’s (BCR) forecast, which had projected growth of around 2%.

The INEI reported that gross domestic product (GDP) rose 3.39% between January and November 2025.

Meanwhile, it increased 3.55% in the last 12 months (December 2024–November 2025).

With the November 2025 result, the Peruvian economy recorded 23 consecutive months of sustained expansion.
