Foreign Affairs Ministry: Four Peruvians reported missing in Venezuela have been found

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the four Peruvians reported missing in Venezuela by their relatives, following the double earthquake that caused hundreds of deaths and widespread destruction, have been found.

After noting that it continues to closely monitor the situation of Peruvians in Venezuela, the Ministry said that, unfortunately, two members of a Peruvian family are still missing.

"The priority is now the search for another family, while the Peruvian Interests Section in Caracas continues to distribute food supplies and provide assistance to our affected compatriots," the ministry said on social media.

The government agency also reported that it is receiving and responding to requests for assistance from the most vulnerable communities, providing them with shelter, food supplies, and other essential items.

In that context, it said two vulnerable Peruvian citizens residing in La Guaira who had requested evacuation have returned to Peru.

It also reiterated that Peruvian nationals requiring assistance may contact the Peruvian Interests Section in charge of Consular Affairs in Caracas through the following channels:
