The charming beach area of Los Organos, located in the northern Peruvian region of Piura, is home to a natural monument that has caught the attention of renowned Italian newspaper La Stampa.

This mysterious site is known as El Encanto (The Charm) Hill —a breathtaking rock formation that rises high above the waters of the Pacific Ocean.

La Stampa immersed itself in the fascinating narration surrounding this place, which describes El Encanto as an impressive wall formed by lava with hexagonal pillars eroded by winds, thereby shaping this monument, which resembles a great organ of tubes.

"Magic takes place when southern winds hit the walls of El Encanto Hill, producing a deep sound that echoes along the bay, creating a captivating melody that accompanies legends of beautiful mermaids, mysteries, and great adventures," the portal highlights.

According to local reports, El Encanto Hill is more than a natural wonder: it is a meeting point between the supernatural and the earthly. It is rumored that ancient civilizations, such as the Tallanes, kept their treasures there before being conquered.

"Locals affirm that El Encanto Hill is a place where supernatural things happen, where tunnels open to take you wherever you want, but at the cost of losing your own sanity, and from which it is impossible to remove the gold that lies in its cave," La Stampa stated.

Local residents claim that the hill is enchanting and many do not dare to explore it for fear of being enchanted or because a landslide may occur and they may never be able to leave.

For this reason, no one wants to enter or approach it, much less destroy it, since they regard it as a relic and gift of nature.

However, beyond its enigmas, La Stampa also focuses on another valuable treasure: the natural ecosystem that surrounds it.

"This place located on the northern coast of Peru is known for its windy beaches and extraordinary marine life, including whales and green turtles, so much so that it has been granted this year's sustainability award and the international title of Green Destination," the Italian media outlet said.

Los Organos is a beautiful beach with crystal-clear, turquoise waters. Its waves are perfect for surfing and other water sports such as kayaking, surfing, windsurfing, and fishing.

The publication of this article by La Stampa was highlighted by the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Export and Tourism (PromPeru), which stated that this is part of said organization's strategy to promote several Peruvian regions in the Italian market.

In addition, PromPeru highlighted that La Stampa attracts 63 million readers a month.
