Peru's National Institute of Culture (INC) declared the pre-Hispanic archaeological monument of “Cruz-Gaga Rima Rima”, located in Churubamba district in Huánuco department, a National Cultural Heritage.
According to a resolution issued by INC certifying its inclusion in the list of National Cultural Heritages, this archeological site covers an area of 2.754 hectares and a total perimeter of 806.84 meters.
Every project that would potentially threaten or affect the landscape of this monument must be approved by INC.
In the same way, by means of another directorial resolution, INC also declared the “Wallatas”, a traditional dance of Ollantaytambo province in Cusco, a National Cultural Heritage.
