Starting today, Andina —the official Peruvian news agency for APEC Peru 2024— will provide special coverage of APEC Economic Leaders' Week taking place in Lima from November 9 to 16.

Journalists, video reporters, and photojournalists from Andina and the El Peruano —Peru's official gazette— will be strategically positioned to cover all major events at this important gathering, centered around the meeting of leaders from the 21 Asia-Pacific economies.

Andina and El Peruano will offer comprehensive updates to the public through their multi-platform site, Andina.pe, available in both Spanish and English, alongside 24/7 live updates on social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

Similarly, El Peruano.pe will publish a special English-language insert focused on the APEC forum.

Andina and El Peruano will conduct interviews with senior APEC officials, business leaders, and both national and international experts to analyze the work carried out during Leaders' Week. These interviews will be broadcast from Andina Canal Online's set, specially installed at the International Press Center located within the Ministry of Culture.

APEC Leaders' Week serves as a key platform for dialogue and cooperation on economic and trade issues among APEC member economies.

APEC 2024 underscores Peru’s commitment to regional integration and sustainable development.

Through its coverage, Andina aims to keep the public and the global community informed about discussions and agreements emerging from this significant summit.

The event is expected not only to enhance Peru's international visibility but also to provide Peruvians with a deeper understanding of issues impacting the global and regional economies.

Andina will serve as the official agency for APEC Peru 2024 following an agreement signed last September by Editora Peru and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Peru is hosting APEC for the third time after the 2008 and 2016 editions.
