President Martin Vizcarra on Monday urged
to work hard on their new terms (starting in January 2019) and be clear about their goals, as well as transparent in order to improve
Likewise, the Head of State pointed out the next regional officials have the opportunity to make a difference by
meeting their regions' needs.
"For that reason, we are at your service. We must work together like we have been doing with the incoming authorities and the ones who are ending their terms (in office)," the top official expressed.
"If we work like that, then I am sure we will change the country's history," he affirmed.
"We guarantee the financing for all the ongoing projects. We prioritize the ones in progress. Governors will have their priorities, and we will support them, but
they must complete what has already been started," President Vizcarra added.
Fight against corruption
"We need to regain citizens' trust in public institutions, and the only way to do it is through our actions," the top official stressed.
