"The Embassy of Peru has reported that, up to now, no Peruvians have been affected. Our mission, in coordination with the Foreign Affairs Ministry, remains on alert for any requests from our nationals," the government agency stated on X.

Israel carried out several airstrikes on Tuesday targeting leaders of the Palestinian Hamas movement in Qatar, the Israeli military and the Qatari government reported.
The Office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the operation was entirely independent, with no participation of other countries.
"Today's action against the top terrorist chieftains of Hamas was a wholly independent Israeli operation," said a statement from his office yesterday.
"Israel initiated it, Israel conducted it, and Israel takes full responsibility," it added.
An AFP journalist in Qatar confirmed an airstrike on a complex used by Hamas.
According to the Qatari government, the attack targeted the residences of Hamas leaders in Doha and was described as "cowardly."
