These are the COVID-19 vaccine batches for immunization in Peru

On Wednesday evening, the first batch of Pfizer vaccines will land in Lima —acquired under the COVAX Facility mechanism— plus an additional 50,000 doses due to a direct agreement signed with the aforementioned pharmaceutical company.

Thus, Peru will have already received 1.217 million doses from different laboratories.

Below are the vaccines that arrived in Peruvian territory to immunize the population against coronavirus.

Within this framework, the second batch of 50,000 weekly doses will land in Lima today.



COVAX Facility


The COVAX Facility —a multilateral initiative that seeks to coordinate equitable access to vaccines with laboratories— is committed to delivering 13.2 million doses to immunize 6.6 million citizens.
