Ecuadorian President Guillermo Lasso will arrive in Peru this Wednesday to lead, together with
Peruvian counterpart Dina Boluarte, the activities for the 25th anniversary of the peace agreement signed by both countries.
His arrival is scheduled for 12:20 p.m. (local time) at
Peruvian Air Force (FAP) Major General Armando Revoredo Iglesias Base in Callao region, the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Tuesday.
This 2023 marks 25 years since the signing of the Brasilia Peace Accords, which consolidated peace between Peru and Ecuador.
During her trip to New York City last September, President Boluarte met with her Ecuadorian counterpart, who confirmed his visit to Peru this month with the aim of working on policies for the well-being of both nations.
