Peruvian Soccer Federation (FPF) has launched a video aimed at promoting the FIFA U-17 World Cup, which will be held in the Inca country in 2019.
"We, Peruvians, have already proven that we can unite to
reach a World Cup (tournament). Now, we have a new challenge: To organize a World Cup and put the eyes of the world on us," says the message heard
in the spot.
In the clip, Peru's national team fans can be seen wearing the traditional
red-white jerseys.
The FPF campaign's key phrase is "The World Cup (tournament) is ours."
Although said category's mega event
will take place next year, board members continue their work with full responsibility in order to get everything ready and avoid any setbacks.
A FIFA technical team and the FPF may have inspected Moquegua's Stadium on November 25, which will be one of the venues.
As is known, Peru hosted such event back in 2005.
On this occasion, the
FIFA U-17 World Cup may take place between September and October 2019 at 6 or 7 locations.
