Sportswear Marathon company on Wednesday released the new jersey to be worn by Peru's national soccer team.
The jersey features the traditional red stripe on the chest. As is known, said symbol has been accompanying the national squad since 1939, when Peru won its first Copa America.
On this occasion, the red color spreads to the left sleeve and upper back.
According to
the brand, the garment presents thermo-sealed seams, ultralight logo, multitextured seal, and perforations.
It must be noted the words "La Blanquirroja" (The Red-White) appear on the back.
As is known, Marathon has replaced Umbro as the official uniform manufacturer and will dress Peru's national teams from 2018 thru 2022.
Peruvian Soccer Federation (FPF) confirmed last year it had reached an agreement with the latter.
