Peruvian Soccer Federation's (FPF) Consultative Committee members have resigned their posts, RPP radio and TV news station informed Tuesday.

The commission is a consultative and advisory body —attached to the FPF's Presidency— that provides an external and strategic approach during the decision-making process to improve the Peruvian soccer system.

The committee was composed of professionals from various enterprises, including Gianfranco Castagnola, Luis Felipe Cantuarias, Alfredo Ferrero, Paolo Sacchi, and Luis Alfonso Carrera.

Similarly, Audit and Ethics Committee members tendered their resignation letters to the FPF. Said group was composed of Camilo Maruy, Fernando Carpio, and Francisco Dongo.

The decisions were made following the recent release of audio recordings involving FPF President Edwin Oviedo in alleged irregularities.

Suspended Supreme Judge Cesar Hinostroza and Iza Motors General Manager Antonio Camayo are also involved in said conversations.

As is known, Camayo —last Sunday— was detained for allegedly being part of the Port's White Collars criminal organization.

On Monday, Oviedo rejected accusations against him and ruled out the possibility of leaving office.
