Peru's Prime Minister and U.S. Ambassador discuss fight against pandemic

Peru's Prime Minister Violeta Bermudez met with U.S. Ambassador to Peru Lisa Kenna at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) on Tuesday.

During the meeting, they discussed topics of international interest, such as the fight against the pandemic and drug trafficking.

On March 22, Lisa Kenna presented her credentials as U.S. Ambassador to Peru to the President of the Republic Francisco Sagasti.

Ambassador Lisa Kenna is a career member of the Senior Foreign Service, class of Minister Counselor. She served most recently as the Executive Secretary of the Department of State.

Before meeting with Kenna, the Cabinet chief took part in an award ceremony for young professionals who presented proposals to improve public services through the Digital Challenge for Economic Reactivation, also known as Solveathon.

Such initiative was developed within the framework of CADE Digital 2021.
