on Friday affirmed that his Government will secure enough COVID-19 vaccines so that the next administration, which will take office on July 28, can continue with the immunization process.
"In the coming months, we will be completing the vaccination of all older adults. The commitment of the Transition and Emergency Government is to immunize all those over 60 years of age, who are 4.3 million Peruvians," he emphasized.
The Peruvian leader also asserted that the vaccine is the best defense to face the pandemic. However, it does not replace biosafety measures, such as the correct use of masks and physical distancing.
