Prime Minister Alberto Otarola on Friday reported that the Ministerial Cabinet will go to Congress between January 6 and 10 to request a vote of confidence from lawmakers.

Prime Minister Otarola held a meeting with Parliament Chairman Jose Williams at Congress headquarters this morning.

Once the meeting was over, the Cabinet Chief indicated that the presentation of the Executive Branch's government program will be pragmatic. It will include urgent and necessary measures to relaunch and reactivate the economy, not "a five-hour speech."

The high-ranking official emphasized that the government program will seek to
reinstate meritocracy in the Peruvian State.

Similarly, the Cabinet chief reiterated that they had found deficiencies in this regard.

"We can radically enhance the management of the State," he told reporters.

Moreover, the Prime Minister announced that he will meet soon with members of parliamentary benches.

He also reiterated that President Dina Boluarte's administration is a government of frank
dialogue, which respects discrepancies.
