The gold medal went to Slovenian skier Tina Maze, who finished her two runs with a total time of 2:36.87. Austrian national Anna Fenninger was awarded the silver medal for her total time of 2:36.94.
Viktoria Rebensburg of Germany clinched bronze with a time of 2:37.14, peruthisweek.com reported.
Oettl Reyes is to compete in the ladies’ slalom on Feb. 21. Meanwhile, her brother Manfred, a fellow Olympic athlete competing in alpine skiing, is scheduled to debut Wednesday in the men’s giant slalom.
