The Government has ended the tenure of Peru's Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United States of America, the Kingdom of Spain, the Republic of Costa Rica, the Republic of India, and the French Republic.
Through Supreme Resolution No. 084-2026-RE, the duties of Alfredo Santiago Carlos Ferrero Diez Canseco, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the United States of America, were terminated.
He is thanked for the important services rendered to the Nation in the performance of his duties.
Likewise, it is ordered that the corresponding letters of credence and full powers be cancelled.
Spain
Likewise, through Supreme Resolution No. 085-2026-RE, the duties of Luis Carlos Antonio Iberico Nuñez as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the Kingdom of Spain were terminated.
His duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the Principality of Andorra and as Permanent Representative of Peru to the World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism) were also terminated.
The supreme resolution, published in the Legal Regulations bulletin of the Official Gazette El Peruano, thanks Iberico for the services rendered to the Nation.
Costa Rica
Furthermore, Supreme Resolution No. 081-2026-RE terminated the duties of Carlos Guillermo Hakansson Nieto as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the Republic of Costa Rica.

Meanwhile,
Supreme Resolution No. 082-2026-RE terminated the duties of Stephen Yuri Haas del Carpio as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the French Republic.
After thanking him for the important services rendered to the Nation in the performance of his duties, the resolution orders that the corresponding letters of credence and full powers be cancelled.
India
Finally, through Supreme Resolution No. 083-2026-RE, the duties of Javier Manuel Paulinich Velarde, a retired Ambassador in the Diplomatic Service of the Republic, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the Republic of India were terminated.
His duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the Republic of Maldives, Nepal, and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka were also terminated.
He is thanked for the important services rendered to the Nation in the performance of his duties, and the corresponding letters of credence and full powers are cancelled.
