President Martin Vizcarra on Wednesday affirmed the efforts aimed at improving the development conditions for
must be undertaken by all sectors of the country, not only by the government.
"We have the willingness and commitment to work for (the benefit of) the
early childhood, but we are aware that, if we do this alone, it will not be enough. The effort must be shared with everyone," the Head of State expressed.
In this sense, the top official signed the decree creating the Childhood First Strategy, which will benefit minors in 1,226 Peruvian districts.
For that reason, the statesman noted the commitment assumed by the National Assembly of Regional Governments (ANGR), the Association of Municipalities of Peru (AMPE), and the Network of Urban and Rural Municipalities of Peru (REMURPE).
It should be noted he held meetings with their leaders in order to assess the subject.
Likewise, President Vizcarra underlined
childhood is not the future of the Inca country, but its present. Thus, he indicated that working for this sector means boosting
sustainable development.
Furthermore, the Head of State pointed out his administration's goal is to improve the seven parameters related to
childhood through articulated efforts.
On the occasion, he was joined by Prime Minister Salvador del Solar and Development-Social Inclusion Minister Paola Bustamante.
