President Martin Vizcarra on Tuesday affirmed he will be in constant communication with the
soon-to-be mayor of Lima, Jorge Muñoz, in order to confront and solve the capital city's issues together.
The remarks were made after a meeting they held at the Government Palace.
The gathering also featured heads of Transport and Communications; Housing, Construction, and Sanitation; Interior; as well as Development and Social Inclusion portfolios.
"We have to take advantage of October, November, and December to hold working group meetings so that we don't waste time in January when the mayor assumes this important responsibility," the Head of State expressed.
"Let's work together to solve Lima's major problems (…)," he added.
