participated in the 2025 Third National Multi-Hazard Drill "For a Prepared Country" from the Government Palace in Lima on Monday evening.
This enables them to respond efficiently and promptly to hazards of natural origin or those caused by human activity.
Following the drill, the Head of State headed to the National Emergency Operations Center (COEN) in Lima's Chorrillos district.
At the site, the top official received reports from various Peruvian regions on the exercise.
"This exercise we are conducting today allows us to assess the reaction capacity we can have in the face of multiple crisis situations in our country; it also teaches us the areas we need to improve to be much more effective in situations like this," Jeri indicated.
The top official stated that a drill should prompt reflection because everyone, without exception, must be committed to this type of exercise and fully aware that Peru is located in a highly seismic zone.
In this regard, he called on the population to participate and take these activities seriously, as they help foster a culture of prevention.
