Peru President holds work meetings with State ministers

The President of the Republic Martin Vizcarra currently holds working meetings with State ministers and Health sector officials to evaluate the actions taken within the framework of the national state of emergency due to COVID-19.

The meetings also serve to take new measures aimed at 
protecting the health of Peruvian citizens.

As reported by the Presidency of the Republic, the technical teams from different sectors continue to monitor the situation at the national level.


Initially set to last from March 16 to 30, the social isolation measure had been first extended to April 12, then thru April 26, and recently until May 10.

On this occasion, the President is joined by members of the Council of Ministers. The event is held at the Government Palace in Lima.

Monday marks the forty-third day of mandatory social isolation.

Today, the President will not hold a press conference.
