The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Thursday stressed the highly positive results obtained following his participation in the 77th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, where he held meetings and conferences.

"We are already in Lima, after a tour of meetings and conferences at the UN General Assembly. Highly positive results for Peru, which will enable us to continue working with an inclusive and fair multilateral development approach for everyone," Mr. Castillo expressed on his official Twitter account.

"We have discussed the importance of the Church's work, as well as its contribution to the sustainable and decentralized development of our country's regions, in addition to its great social work," a post by the Presidential Office reads.

Similarly, it specifies that coordination was made at the meeting for the visit that President Castillo will pay to the Supreme Pontiff in Rome this October.
