Agents from the National Police of Peru's High Complexity Investigations Division (Diviac) currently carry out a seizure operation at the home located on Jiron Sarratea (Sarratea Street) in Lima's Breña district —led by the Special Team of Prosecutors against Corruption of Power.

It began around 8:00 a.m. (local time) and takes place in the five-story building located at 179 Sarratea Street.

A series of meetings and other events might have been held there, which are currently the subject of a prosecutorial investigation and involve ex-President Pedro Castillo, among other citizens.

The Sarratea Home —as it is commonly known— is owned by businessman Alejandro Sanchez Sanchez, who is currently a fugitive from Peruvian justice.

Wanted by justice, he has been included in the Rewards Program of the Ministry of Interior (Mininter).

A reward worth S/30,000 (about US$7,845) is offered to anyone who provides information on his whereabouts.
