Peru PM: President's message calls for joint work on reforms

Peruvian Prime Minister Salvador del Solar affirmed President Martin Vizcarra's address to the nation last week was aimed at aimed at requesting Congress to approve the political-judicial reforms.

"We must work together, that is the President's message," the cabinet chief told Dia D TV show on Sunday night.

According to him, the Head of State was referring to the desired progress in the justice reform

"(…) The president says literally, and with a completely conciliatory tone, 'let's work together'," he added. 

In this sense, Del Solar pointed out the top official informed the Executive Branch has already submitted the political reform bills to Parliament, which are absolutely crucial to improve the lives of Peruvians by transforming politics. 

"We must make progress on it. We should not let it be delayed," he said. 

Likewise, the Prime Minister recalled Congress Chairman Daniel Salaverry expressed complete willingness to approve the regulations presented by the Executive Branch and that this will must be materialized.
