on Sunday night confirmed that Edmer Trujillo and Carlos Bruce have resigned their posts as Ministers of Transport-Communications and Housing-Construction, respectively.
In remarks to Dia D TV show, Del Solar welcomed the gestures by Bruce and Trujillo to step down in order to address some issues, without hurting President Martin Vizcarra's administration.
"Both of them have had the gesture, the generosity, to say we do not want to be an obstacle to the objectives we want to achieve with the government (...) and they have said that it is politically convenient to step aside," he expressed.
The Prime Minister went on to add the Head of State has accepted both resignations.
Via Twitter, Edmer Trujillo made public his decision to quit the post and thanked the President for the opportunity given to him.
