Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra administered the oath of office to Edmer Trujillo Mori in a private ceremony on Tuesday evening, making him the new Transport and Communications Minister.
This way, Trujillo becomes the first Cabinet member in the
Vizcarra administration, replacing the outgoing Bruno Giuffra.
The appointment was made official by Supreme Resolution published today in El Peruano official gazette.
The document bears the signatures of President Vizcarra and Prime Minister Mercedes Araoz.
On the other hand, a similar resolution accepted the resignation of Bruno Giuffra as the top Transport and Communications official.
According to the Head of State, the
full Cabinet list will be announced after Holy Week.
