Peru: Over 890,000 citizens vaccinated against COVID-19

The Peruvian Government has stressed that —so far— 890,402 citizens have been inoculated with the COVID-19 vaccine. Of this amount, 585,307 already received two doses, it was reported.



This last figure will include 4,300,000 adults aged above 60 who reside in the country, Production Minister Jose Luis Chicoma projected.


Bonus 

Regarding the government grant known as (600 Bonus), Housing Minister Solangel Fernandez indicated that 87.5% of beneficiaries have already received that benefit.

"As of April 23, 3,243,438 households have received this support from the Peruvian State," she said.

Within the second stage of the delivery of said benefit, 408,219 households have already collected it, which represents an advance of 46.8%. This phase includes 940,000 beneficiaries from 14 Peruvian provinces.

Concerning the economic reactivation, three guidelines have been established referring to the use of open spaces at service and business levels. These include restaurants, cultural establishments, and open public spaces.
