The Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended the mandate of the multisectoral working group responsible for carrying out the interinstitutional coordination required to repatriate assets linked to illicit acts and held in the Swiss Confederation.

The measure was made official through Ministerial Resolution No. 326-2026-RE, published in the Legal Regulations bulletin of the Official Gazette El Peruano.

Accordingly, the mandate of the aforementioned multisectoral working group was extended for one calendar year, with retroactive effect from April 26, 2026.

The resolution also orders its publication on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' website. The General Office of Strategic Communications and International Image Projection is responsible for carrying out that action.

The working group was created through Ministerial Resolution No. 0230-2024-RE on March 25, 2024.

Its purpose is to carry out the interinstitutional coordination necessary to facilitate the repatriation and enforcement of assets from the Swiss Confederation more effectively.

"In that regard, its function is to coordinate the joint action of the entities involved in the asset repatriation and enforcement process in order to ensure an organized multisectoral intervention," the resolution adds.

The resolution bears the signature of Foreign Affairs Minister Carlos Pareja.
