Peru on Wednesday delivered the initial memorandum to the
, which marks a milestone in our country's process of accession to said body.
"This important step reflects the political decision of President Dina Boluarte, who leads this historic process. The incorporation of our country into the international mechanism will allow Peru to enter the major leagues of economy and administrative governance," the
Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) reported via its official Twitter account.
The delivery of the initial memorandum took place in France, where Peruvian Government authorities recently arrived as part of a tour from June 3 to 8, which
had begun in Spain.
