Peru's PM participates in OECD Ministerial Council Meeting

Peruvian Prime Minister Alberto Otarola, as well as Ministers Ana Cecilia Gervasi (Foreign Affairs) and Alex Contreras (Economy-Finance), participate in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development's OECD Ministerial Council Meeting 2023.

As is known, the Cabinet chief is in Europe on a working visit to Spain and France.

He is currently in the French city of Paris.

While in the French capital, the authorities will officially deliver the Initial Memorandum and discuss the next steps in the Peruvian process of accession to this international mechanism.

Said document starts the implementation of the roadmap towards Peru's accession to the OECD, Foreign Affairs Minister Gervasi pointed out days ago.

The diplomat indicated that unprecedented inter-institutional cooperation and coordination efforts were undertaken in this accession process to implement the best practices and policies aimed at improving the Peruvian population's quality of life.
