Castillo thanked the Peruvians who sent good wishes to him, after learning that he was treated by a medical team due to health problems on Thursday.
"The doctors' diagnosis was a throat infection. Tomorrow we rejoin (the campaign). The debate will take place no matter what. Peru comes first," the teacher expressed last night.
Last Thursday, the presidential candidate had to suspend his scheduled events in Lima's San Juan de Lurigancho district, because he had health problems and was examined at a local clinic.
"Nothing will stop us in our march with the people towards the horizon of justice and freedom that we have drawn. Once again, thank you, brothers and sisters across the country,"
Castillo wrote.
