Four international laboratories —which are developing vaccines against COVID-19— get ready to start their clinical trials in Peru, thus adding to the studies already carried out by
, Immunization Advisor at the Health Ministry (Minsa) Carlos Castillo reported on Thursday.
According to the official, the country —at the same time— has a system which guarantees the safety of clinical trials.
For its part, the Imperial College of the United Kingdom plans to carry out its tests in Lima and Moquegua from January 2021.
Lastly, Castillo indicated that other laboratories could join this list in the coming days.
