Names of Venezuelan Maduro's entourage banned from entering Peru

The Peruvian Government —through its Foreign Affairs Ministry— on Thursday ordered the entry ban on Nicolas Maduro and other 99 people linked to his administration in Venezuela.

The list includes a total of 100 names.

Last week, Peru announced it would not recognize the legitimacy of Nicolas Maduro's new government in the Bolivarian country.

Thus, Foreign Affairs Minister Nestor Popolizio —on Monday— indicated this measure is part of the agreements adopted by Lima Group members to put international pressure aimed at condemning the democratic and humanitarian crisis existing in that nation.

Peru has also recalled its Charge d'Affaires to Venezuela.
