The latest Datum poll on Thursday revealed that at least 85% of Peruvians believe the politicians, who are currently under investigation for the Lava Jato case, are guilty.

In this sense, 86% of respondents indicated Fuerza Popular Keiko Fujimori —who currently serves 36-month preventive detention— is guilty of committing corruption crimes.

Likewise, 93% attribute responsibility to ex-President Alejandro Toledo for the same crime. Wanted by Peruvian justice, Toledo is residing in the U.S.

Meanwhile, 92% think ex-Head State Alan Garcia —who currently faces an investigation and is banned from leaving the country— is guilty.

On the other hand, 63% of Peruvian citizens do not consider the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office is committing excesses when accusing the people under probe of corruption.

Furthermore, 50% believe a selective justice exists, while 44% think otherwise.
