CADE 2018: Peruvian economy to grow 4% in 2018

10:54 | Paracas (Ica region), Nov. 29.

Peruvian GDP will increase 4% in 2018 despite tough internal conditions, as it was balanced by the relative improvement of the world's economic activity, ESAN University Professor Ana Reategui has affirmed.

"(…) This is a good sign. However, it (Peruvian economy) could grow even more," she expressed.

Reategui pointed out the world is living relatively good times —in economic terms— thus dynamizing the Inca country's economy.

Concerning CADE-Executives 2018, the Professor indicated essential subjects —such as the fight against corruption— are being discussed.

"CADE always generates expectations to listen to ideas that help opening up the mind and the thinking concerning how to confront the future of the nation and of the (rest of the) world," she added.

"The topics that are being addressed at CADE are very interesting, such as the fight against corruption, transparency, and how to implement good governance (…)," Reategui concluded.

The 56th edition of the Annual Conference of Executives (CADE-Executives 2018) began last Wednesday in the southern seaside city of Paracas.

This event is aimed at encouraging businesspeople to exert more leadership by promoting integrity, competitiveness, sustainability, and the foundations for Peru to become a developed country.
