The Ministry of Production (Produce) announced today that, through the National Program "Tu Empresa," it has achieved a record since its inception, formalizing more than 100,000 businesses nationwide.

This action was carried out within the framework of the strategy to bring the free business formalization service closer to the country.

"This result represented economic savings of more than 18 million soles (approximately US$5.35 million) for entrepreneurs," Produce emphasized.

To this end, the Tu Empresa (Your Business) Program deployed its Business Development Centers (CDEs) nationwide, carrying out formalization campaigns through interventions in wholesale markets, shopping centers, universities, and other strategic locations in the regions, targeting citizens with business ideas or existing ventures.

“Formalization opens doors, and we are certain of that. From the sector, we promoted strategies that allowed entrepreneurs to access free advisory and support services, including exemption from company name registration fees and the application of social rates with partner notaries,” highlighted the Minister of Production, Cesar Quispe Lujan.

He also emphasized that formalization represents a crucial step for the growth, protection, and expansion of businesses.

Along these lines, he highlighted that efforts are underway to reduce the formalization process time from 40 to 15 days, as well as lower notary fees from 1,200 to 200 soles, thanks to the coordinated work of the Local Business Development Councils (CDEs) and the Local Business Development Agents (CDEs).

Formalization allows entrepreneurs to access credit and financing programs, participate in trade events and public procurement processes, issue payment receipts, and expand their client base.

It also provides them with access to training, specialized consulting, and digital tools offered by the government, contributing to the strengthening of the management and competitiveness of micro and small enterprises (MSEs).

Business training and strengthening to boost the competitiveness of MSEs.

During 2025, more than 25,000 entrepreneurs and MSEs participated in key training sessions on business management, digitalization, financing alternatives, and productive development organized by the National Program "Tu Empresa" (Your Business).

In addition, more than 10,664 women-led micro and small enterprises (MSEs) strengthened their capacities in the areas of Business Management and Personal Skills, within the framework of the Women Produce priority initiative.

Meanwhile, more than 1,000 MSEs from 10 regions of the country participated in the Digital Training Sessions (SED mype), which aim to reduce the technological gaps faced by entrepreneurs nationwide through the practical use of tools such as artificial intelligence, e-commerce, and social media management.

Under the “Strengthen Your Market” strategy, more than 2,900 vendors from 54 wholesale markets in 20 regions significantly strengthened their capacities in business management and digitalization, driving the modernization of their businesses, increasing their sales, and enhancing their competitiveness in increasingly dynamic markets.

In addition, more than 1,500 micro and small enterprises (MSEs) from all regions of the country participated in 26 "Peru Produces" trade events, spaces that allow entrepreneurs to increase their sales, position their brands, and access new markets, generating sales exceeding 3.8 million soles (US$1.13 million).
