—global business education analysts— have released their 2021 list of the world's best online MBA programs. The results show that Peru is Latin America's leading provider of world-class online MBA programs.
Peru is the only Latin American nation to have online MBA programs of sufficient quality to feature in the ranking.
CENTRUM PUCP Graduate Business School places 17th globally —down three places year-on-year.
It is joined in the ranking by Pacifico Business School, which ranks 36th in the world. Pacifico Business School achieves higher scores for its teaching standards and class experience than CENTRUM PUCP, but is disadvantaged by its relatively low Employability performance.
With students increasingly turning to the online MBA as a more flexible, more cost-effective method of furthering their career development goals, and with an increasing number of AACSB-accredited schools adding an online MBA option, QS's list —the largest ever— offers independent comparative insight on provider quality.
For the fourth year in a row, Spain's IE Business School can boast the world's highest-quality offering, according to QS's metrics and dataset. It has received the highest scores of any program for Employability and for Faculty and Teaching, while also attaining the joint-third-best score for Class Experience.
CENTRUM PUCP Graduate Business School achieves the following scores in QS's metric groups:
1. Employability: 60.4/100
2. Class Profile: 48.5/100
3. Faculty & Teaching: 69.3/100
4. Class Experience: 57.4/100
Pacifico Business School achieves the following scores in the four metric groups used by QS to compile the ranking:
1. Employability: 23.3/100
2. Class Profile: 36.1/100
3. Faculty & Teaching: 76.2/100
4. Class Experience: 77.8/100
"Once again, QS find that Peruvian institutions are regional pioneers in the online MBA space: no other Latin American nation provides programs of sufficient quality and accreditation standards to feature in our ranking. And CENTRUM PUCP have again reiterated that they are the best destination for the ambitious Latin American business student seeking the flexibility and asynchronicity of online study," QS Spokesperson Jack Moran said.
"In particular, CENTRUM PUCP has cultivated an outstanding virtual teaching experience —one that can compete with the world's very best online MBA programs— and is nurturing highly-employable graduates. We congratulate all at the business school on their commendable work," he added.
