on Thursday stated that the Government will not stop and will continue supporting the country's development and growth.
"We, as a Government, will not stop for anything. We will continue betting on the development and growth of our beloved homeland," Mrs. Boluarte expressed during the inauguration of Bicentennial School I.E. No. 2051 in Lima’s Carabayllo district.
During her speech, she reaffirmed that the pillars of her administration are education and health, and therefore, the construction and delivery of schools will continue without delays and fully equipped.
Likewise, the top official emphasized the importance of building trust both domestically and internationally in order to attract investments and generate resources that can be allocated to the construction of more educational institutions.
In this regard, Mrs. Boluarte reported that the number of Bicentennial Schools delivered during her government has reached 39, three of which are in Carabayllo district, where one more is planned to be built.
"This Bicentennial School has cost approximately S/42 million (about US$11.5 million), and we are doing it without staining our hands with acts of corruption," she said.
The Head of State took the opportunity during her speech to propose that the Bicentennial School I.E. No. 2051, in Carabayllo, be named after Pope Leo XIV.
"Dear principal, I see that your school only has the name 2051. I propose that you —the teachers, administrative staff, parents, and students— make the decision, but I suggest naming it after our Peruvian pope, Leo XIV," Mrs. Boluarte expressed.
At that point, she recalled the invitation extended to the Supreme Pontiff to visit Peru, as well as the work being carried out by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism to implement the Pope Leo XIV Tourist Route.
