President Martin Vizcarra encouraged Peruvian citizens to look at the country's future with hope and optimism, as well as to join efforts to build a fairer and equitable Peru.
Speaking from the Government Palace in Lima on Monday night, the Head of State stressed his administration is democratic, honest, transparent, and bets on
decentralization. Also, it works to lead the Inca country towards
progress and
development.
"We are
here to serve the country, not to make a profit from it. Those who do not understand this should not be (working) at the State," he expressed.
This technical body —attached to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM)— is the governing entity for the National Policy on Integrity and
Fight against Corruption.
Lastly, the statesman pointed out his administration is articulating efforts with the Comptroller General's Office to strengthen the monitoring of public resources use —at all levels of government— in a permanent way.
"This measure ensures projects are implemented in a clean, honest, and transparent manner," he concluded.
