President receives credential from Ambassadors of Palestine, Switzerland, Honduras, Israel

The President of the Republic, Jose Maria Balcazar, on Tuesday received the credentials of the Ambassadors of the State of Palestine, the Swiss Confederation, the Republic of Honduras, and the State of Israel.

The ceremony formally marks the beginning of their diplomatic duties as envoys appointed to Peru.

It also strengthens bilateral relations with those countries, based on friendship, mutual respect, and cooperation.

The Ambassador of the State of Palestine, Deema H.M. Asfour, was the first to present her credentials, followed by the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation, Eric Mayoraz.


The Ambassador of the Republic of Honduras, Vania Maribel Garcia Morales, and the Ambassador of the State of Israel, Gali Dagan, presented their credentials as well.


The ceremony was held at the Government Palace in Lima.

It was attended by Foreign Affairs Minister Carlos Pareja.
