The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte has met with European Union Vice-President Margaritis Schinas and European Union Ambassador to Peru Gaspar Frontini.

During the session, the Head of State thanked the European Union's support to the Government of Peru and, in particular, to the fight against illicit drug trafficking.

Thus, the dignitary noted that the Peruvian economy is reviving and, thanks to that, guarantees are provided for foreign investors, due to the country's political and macroeconomic stability.

Moreover, Mrs. Boluarte underscored that during her recent trip to Germany, she held a meeting with entrepreneurs interested in coming to Peru in order to invest in various sectors such as infrastructure, mining, and technology.

The authorities met on Monday at the Government Palace in the Peruvian capital, Lima.
