The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte held a working meeting with Cusco Region Governor Werner Salcedo and other authorities of the Imperial City to address the southern Peruvian region’s needs.

During this gathering, the officials engaged in dialogue so as to articulate joint actions that lead to making progress on closing social and infrastructure gaps in Cusco.

In this sense, the top official reiterated that the Government's objective is to promote the construction of the hospital Antonio Lorena, as well as of those in Quillabamba, Espinar, and the Machu Picchu Health Center, among other large-scale public works.

"By working together, we will be able to move these projects forward, which are demanded by the people of Cusco," Mrs. Boluarte emphasized.

This event took place on Friday at the Government Palace in the Peruvian capital, Lima.
