Pet Shop Boys show Peruvians’ affection signs on Twitter

Pet Shop Boys posted a photo of a very fine bottle of Pisco, a present from fans.

Impressed by the warm welcome they received since they arrived in Lima, the British electronic pop duo Pet Shop Boys has documented, through pictures and various messages on Twitter.com, the affection signs that Peruvians have shown them.

Today, after holding a press conference and a meeting with their fans club, the duo, consisting of Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe, published a picture of the Pisco bottle that their fans gave them. 

Pet Shop Boys also posted a photo that Tennant - group's vocalist - took of Peruvian journalists attending the press conference at noon.

The Peruvian news people were really happy to be in the press conference of this electronic duo, which performs tomorrow at the Jockey Club in Lima. 

The British band, who arrived in Lima on Saturday, have already visited many historical sites such as Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, Barranco and the Huaca Pucllana.

The pop duo also said they have tried several Peruvian dishes and drinks such as the Peruvian wine.

"Yesterday we went to Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, some shops, different areas, Barranco, we round the area, we had dinner. We tried some Peruvian white wine
and shrimps", Tennat said.

"Peruvian wine is really good", he added.
