The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo held a meeting with Chilean counterpart Gabriel Boric on Friday, within the framework of the IX Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles, United States.

At the event, the Head of State was joined by Economy-Finance Minister Oscar Graham, Peru's Permanent Representative to the Organization of American States (OAS) Harold Forsyth, and Peruvian Ambassador to Spain Oscar Maurtua.

This is the second meeting between the two top officials, taking into account that they had met at the swearing-in ceremony of President Boric in Chile last March.

As it was known, during the meeting it was possible to review the bilateral relationship between both nations. Similarly, friendship ties were strengthened.

Mr. Castillo's activities today began at 9:00 a.m. (local time) with his presence in the Leaders' Second Plenary Session at the Summit of the Americas —also attended by his peers from the region.
