The President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte, on Wednesday stated that her administration will continue to open doors and opportunities for every Peruvian who wants to turn their project into reality, thereby generating a new Peru.

This announcement was made by the President during a check delivery ceremony for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs who participated in the ProInnóvate competition.

"We, as the Government, will continue opening doors and opportunities for every Peruvian man and woman who wants to turn their dream into reality, to have their project executed, and through the execution of a dream, of that innovation, we will generate a new Peru," she stated.

In that sense, the top official indicated that from the Ministry of Production and all sectors, "we will continue supporting the youth who innovate, who dream, and who want to make the country a different Peru."

"Today we are not only celebrating the delivery of funds but also celebrating your dreams, passion, and vision of how to undertake and the path of building businesses in the country. We know there is plenty of talent in each person across the country, but sometimes that remains dormant because they lack seed capital," she said.

The President stated that the delivery of checks to the winners not only reflects the State's confidence in these initiatives, but is like "an injection into the vein of the people and symbolizes faith in their abilities and entrepreneurial strength."

"Today, more than 330 dreams are receiving a boost thanks to the ProInnóvate competitions, from the Ministry of Production, which believes in our micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises and in the young people with a fresh outlook on the future," she stated.

Additionally, Mrs. Boluarte added that this support will not end with the presentation of these prizes, as over S/25.8 million (above US$6.86 million) is being awarded to entrepreneurs.

"With this seed capital, keep forging your path, let’s keep pushing forward with strength, and never give up," she added.
