The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Sunday affirmed that his Government will prioritize the care for remote towns across the country, such as Caballococha in Loreto region, where he arrived today to fulfill a work agenda.

The Head of State pointed out that the needs of remote towns are greater and will be met.

Remarks were made at Caballococha's Main Square, where he met with members of the population and local authorities.

He said priority will be given to the construction of the local hospital and to modifications in the infrastructure of the school.

Additionally, the Head of State stressed the need to provide drinking water to homes and improve the electricity service in said locality, which is surrounded by the river.

The President called on citizens to get organized and monitor the actions, as well as the correct use of budget resources, to make sure that investment is done transparently.

After recalling that the COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing, he noted that the Government is working hard to deliver the vaccination drive and thus guarantee the lives of Peruvians.

Mr. Castillo arrived in Caballococha this morning joined by Ministers Pedro Francke (Economy and Finance), Hernando Cevallos (Health), and Anahi Durand (Women).
